
Moonrise Rest – a 60-minute Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra class. Restorative yoga postures are deeply supported by props and held in comfort for 10-20 minutes. Yoga Nidra is sometimes referred to as “yogic sleep.” You will rest in savasana, a relaxation posture, for the duration of the class as the teacher guides you on a journey of the koshas, the energetic layers. This class is an exploration of awareness; it may feel like the awareness you have of your thoughts right before waking up from sleep. Think of the practice as the space between sunset and moonrise.
